The Difference between Bottle Blowing Machine and Blow Molding Machine

In a broader sense, a blow molding machine is also a kind of bottle blowing machine. Full-automatic bottle blowing machines include blow molding machines, hollow molding machines, injection blowing machines, and more two-step bottle blowing machines currently used.

In short, it is a machine. In detail, it is a machine for producing hollow containers. There are generally two types: pneumatic bottle blowing machine and hydraulic bottle blowing machine. Pneumatic production is generally less than 10L, while hydraulic pressure is generally more than 10L, because of its high energy consumption.

Bottle blowing machine:
A machine that blows bottles. The simplest explanation is that it is a machine that can blow plastic particles or finished bottles preform into bottles by certain technological means.

At present, most bottle blowing machines are still two-step bottle blowing machines, that is, plastic raw materials must be made into bottle preforms before blowing. Nowadays, the environmental-protection plastic made of PET is commonly used.

Blow molding machine:
After the liquid plastic is sprayed out, the plastic body is blown and attached to a mold cavity with a certain shape by using the wind from the machine, so as to make a product. This machine is called a blow molding machine. It is also a kind of bottle blowing machine.

The difference between bottle blowing and blow molding:
Blow molding process:
Blow molding is used to make pipes (when the wall is thin, it is film), which is characterized by continuous production and belongs to extrusion process.

Bottle blowing process:
It is specially used for bottle making. The tubular blank is extruded or injected by robot arms into a mold, inflated, and the tube wall is stuck to the mold to form a bottle, which is a combination of extrusion and injection molding process.
